Moving on

Well things are being planned now. We have scheduled the four, yes four, pack outs. Since we have no idea yet where we will be living, we have the humungis task of sorting what to take, what to leave and what goes into limbo for our move next year to Singapore. This is,by far, the most challenging (ok, I'll be honest HARD) move I've ever had/done. Somehow, knowing the kids aren't going to be with us brings on an element of frustration to all this. But they are grids (thank you Sinbad), and have lives of their own. So what does that make me? Oops, fodder for another entry.....
But as stated, things are beginning to happen. Time to grab an oar and row. In about a week, I'll be back into Ebay, selling off things that we just don't want anymore. Eek. This is a whole ordeal in itself. But it has to be done. Of course I could just have it all packed away and waiting for me in 4 years when we return. No, I think I'll deal with it now. Somehow knowing it's there, lurking, waiting for processing in 4 years time is too daunting. I may never come home then :P

Boroughs on the brain

So now that we are going to London again, I can't seem to do anything but think about where we are going to live. Since I know so little about London, except the touristy stuff, I'm in a bit of a pickle. There's a lot to do and read about online. Just need to find the time. If anyone out there has info that can help me, let me know.

On again, off again

Holy cow. If I got a nickel for every time our orders got changed.... Well, I think you know the rest. So we're in limbo currently. Mike is floating off the coast of Japan, and I am gearing up for Ren Fair this weekend. While our weekend forecast is way too high (in the upper 80s) I fully intend to enjoy this spectaular moment with all the other slightly "touched" costume enthusiasts. Pictures to follow, I hope.....
